How long does it take to connect an integration?
Shopify takes under 2 minutes with our one-click install. Ad platform integrations (Meta, Google Ads, GA4) require OAuth authorisation and are typically connected within 5 minutes. Data starts flowing immediately after connection.
Do I need a developer to set up integrations?
No. All launch integrations are self-serve with guided setup flows. Shopify is a one-click app install. Ad platforms use standard OAuth: just log in and authorise. No code, no API keys, no developer required.
What data does NodeNarrative access from each integration?
We request read-only access to the minimum data required for attribution. From Shopify: orders, products, and customer records. From ad platforms: campaign performance, spend, and conversion events. We never modify your data or post on your behalf.
Can I request a new integration?
Yes. Contact us at support@nodenarrative.io or use the contact form to request an integration. We prioritise based on customer demand, so the more requests, the sooner we build it.
Can I switch from Segment, Snowplow, or GA4 without changing my data pipeline?
Yes. Our collector compatibility layer accepts events in Snowplow, Segment, and GA4 formats out of the box. Point your existing data pipeline at the NodeNarrative collector endpoint and events flow directly into the knowledge graph. No code changes, no migration project. We also provide a lightweight JavaScript SDK for custom event collection.
Is my data secure when connected through integrations?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication and never store your platform passwords. Data is processed on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade encryption and access controls.
